Meet Cranston IT’s Newest Team Member – Kenneth Baumgardner
There’s no position that carries more weight at CranstonIT than that of the IT technician.
It’s why we structured the company from the inside out, to make the IT tech the nucleus of the team and the beacon of our mission. Nothing is more important than our professional and skilled abilities to diagnose, support and solve the varied IT challenges our customers encounter every day.
So please help us welcome IT technician Kenneth Baumgardner, our newest torch bearer.
“It didn’t take me long to realize I was responsible for saving the day, even if it’s just for a routine issue,” admitted Kenneth, who joined CranstonIT in January. “But that’s how I believe I can make a difference here.”
Like all CranstonIT techs, Kenneth’s responsibilities focus on the installation, troubleshooting, testing and rollout of new hardware, software and security features. But in addition, he’ll specialize on the remote and onsite installation and maintenance of Windows and cross-platform networks.
Kenneth has more than 15 years hands-on experience in the tech support space, working with Staples, BeaconHill and Robert Half on a variety of systems, networks and projects. He is certified in CompTIA A+, Microsoft MTA and Microsoft MOS.
Kenneth was drawn to CranstonIT because of its small and close-knit team. In fact, he considers the entire team a “mentor unit” that guides him every step of the way.
“A small team means my contributions have a greater impact,” he said. “This team helps keep me focused and consistent, and I enjoy that sort of responsibility.”
Kenneth is a lifelong Pittsburgh-area native, living in Illinois for just a short time. He quickly learned “people are the same” everywhere you go “if you are the same” everywhere you go.
He will be working at home, in the office and onsite at customer locations in CranstonIT’s hybrid productivity model. Kenneth is single and, while unattached, is intent on supporting his extended family.
